Baalbek

Is a town in the Anti-Lebanon foothills east of the Litani River in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley, about 85 km northeast of Beirut.
Baalbek is the city of the most important historical and tourist cities in Lebanon and in the Middle, structures in Baalbek more structures which dates back to ancient times is the famous. The archaeological site is the primary witness to the power and wealth and greatness of the Romanian Empire.
A short distance from the castle located a group of Islamic landmarks, built by Arab successive civilizations over the city. Many beautiful Ottoman houses gives the city along with an architectural interesting. Baalbek gathered between various scenic and historical traditions and fine hotel. It was created some modern hotels in the past few years, reflecting the city adapt to modernity.
It is home to the annual Baalbek International Festival.
